Houston DPS is crazy!!!!!!

I went to Houston DPS at grand road today and it was extremely crazy. I went there to get a driver licensed and there were so many people out there. If you guys want to get driver license you have to be there early in the morning so you can take the road test. It is first come first serve. I went there this morning and I arrived around 4:30 am and there were two people ahead of me already. Yeah it was crazy. I don't know why can't we call them and make an appointment for the road test? They are crazy really! I am so upset not just me but everyone went there they are so mad. We waited like three hours and a half. They open at 8am in the morning.

Anyway, I am so glad my friend Andy went with me. He is so kind. He have been helping me since I started processing all of my papers and etc. I didn't pass the first time okay I failed. The woman was extremely strict I hate her. She didn't let me pass the road test and I don't know why I actually stopped at the stop sign and then turn right and she was telling me that I didn't stop at all. Well, she was an old woman that looks so strict. I bet you everyone hates her..

Well, I am so thankful that I finally got a driver licensed. I should have get it 5 years ago but I was lazy back then.

A Brewer Birthday

Thanks for the guest post by Jo Levy

Each spring and summer in Wisconsin we all have our hopes held high for the Milwaukee Brewers. Unfortunately they are usually a letdown and most fans lose enthusiasm fairly quickly in the season. I do not consider myself to be a fair weather fan. I love the Brewers whether they win ten in a row or haven't won a game the entire season.

It's tradition in my family to go to the Brewers game in the last week of May. It's the beginning of summer and work and school have quieted down a bit. My father works at a factory and most of their processing is done during the winter months and he is laid off during the summer months so he really looks forward to this. My sister and I are both college students so this is the only time of year when we have free time as well.

My sister and I are twins and turned 21-years-old on May 14th so as a gift my dad purchased three tickets using our 4G internet bundles. This was a shock when we got to the ball park and he just save his name and it was already paid for. I felt like a celebrity. He got us great seats and the Brewest actually won!

Stressful week

This week is pretty bad for me and it has been so stressful week. I am so busy doing my very important things but unsuccessful. I am so tired and very sleepy.

Yesterday, I got a call from a friend of mine and told me that our friend Jen's father just died and I was very shocked and again I felt down again. We are planning to visit them sometimes tomorrow for the viewing.

This morning I talked to my other friend the one that is pregnant. She is in her first trimester and feeling so bad. She is so stress, don't have appetite to eat and she just always vomits. And again I felt so down again when I heard about her situation. I felt so bad for her so I asked my friend Meme if she could visit her and I am so glad she did.

I am not feeling so good really. I am so stress for all of the problems we have and worried about everything.

Well, I hope everything will be okay. God is always on our side and I know he is our helper when we need him.

Imagining

We are getting old everyday and it's sad to think about it. I sometimes looked myself at the mirror and see wrinkles on my face. Do I have wrinkles? Yes, I have a little when I get mad lol, 50 years from now I will be 77 years old and I can imagine myself looking at the mirror and see my face. I saw wrinkles on my face. Wow! I look so old. Really old but if I put wrinkle creams on my face I can imagine that I don't have wrinkles that much. I am just imagining here guys, you think I am crazy? I am not. Try it yourself. Imagine yourself what would you look like when you get old. What you see? hahaha!

Lipo 6 hers

There are so many kinds of diet pills on the market today. Lipo 6 hers is one of the diet pill that I just now know. Awesome! So many kinds of diet pills and fat burners but my question is what are the best one that works good? hmm..well, I can't really tell you that because people are different. Some people love Lipo 6 hers and some people don't. So anyway, enjoy taking diet pills and goodluck! Hope you lose weight...

Pimples and acne

My kids are here with me now. Mom and Dad dropped them today. My husband's niece and nephew went with them. Joel's niece have lots of pimples on her face. I don't know why she have it she is 14 years old if I remember right. The last time I saw Becca her face was really smooth and really beautiful and now she have lots of pimples. Anyway, I wanted to ask her but I didn't. I should have ask her. She is really a pretty girl but it looks like she is going to have acne. I need to talk to her that she can get the best acne treatment online. Well, I don't know what she puts on her face but she put something on it when I was at Mom and Dad's house I saw her doing it. She was like she was wiping her face with a white cloth. I guess she put a medicine on it but anyway, she is going to stay at Mom's house until next week and I am going to talk to her about it.

Congrats to my friend

My other friend is pregnant. And we are so happy to hear about the good news. I asked her one time when is she going to have another baby and she told me that she might do it next year. So, I told her that if you want another baby you better do it soon while her baby is little. So, I guess she like my idea and now she got pregnant. We are so happy for her and excited. She can't believe that she is pregnant. Her husband is very happy and I hope her second baby is gonna be a boy. She already have a girl...Congrats to my friend and I hope that her baby will be healthy as well as to my friend.

A new place to call home

Thanks to guest blogger Jake Dillenger for the post.

Moving to a new city can be quite an interesting experience. It is really like nothing else that you do in life. As humans we are so used to our day to day routine. When we throw in a curve ball like moving to a new city, it can be somewhat unsettling.

I learned this first hand with my recent move to Knoxville, Tennessee. The reason for the move was business related, as is the case most of the time. However, it was not really business as usual to move away from the lights and action of Las Vegas to this much lesser known southern city.

Knoxville is a pleasant enough, but it is radically different from the city that never sleeps. The first thing that I noticed was how things around this city actually close. In Las Vegas, I had to have a Security Choice ADT system. In Knoxville, the business is more targeted towards the locals. This means that they can close on nights and weekends.

This was just one of the many factors that I had to take into account with my recent move. The experience is much different than anything else that I would experience in my day to day life, but I believe I will adapt anyway.

How much for a miracle?

A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet.

She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.

Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall's Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door.

She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention but he was too busy at this moment. Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing. She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster. No good. Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That did it!

"And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. I'm talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages," he said without waiting for a reply to his question.

"Well, I want to talk to you about my brother," Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. "He's really, really sick... and I want to buy a miracle."

"I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist.

"His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?"

"We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry but I can't help you," the pharmacist said, softening a little.

"Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs."

The pharmacist's brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does your brother need?"

"I don't know," Tess replied with her eyes welling up. I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want to use my money."

" How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago.

"One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answered barely audibly.
"And it's all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to."

"Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "A dollar and eleven cents---the exact price of a miracle for little brothers."

He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said "Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the miracle you need."

That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed free of charge and it wasn't long until Andrew was home again and doing well.

Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.

That surgery," her Mom whispered. "was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?"

Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost...one dollar and eleven cents ... plus the faith of a little child.

In our lives, we never know how many miracles we will need..
A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but the operation of a higher law.. I know you'll keep the ball moving!

Here it goes. Throw it back to someone who means something to you!

A ball is a circle, no beginning, no end. It keeps us together like our Circle of Friends. But the treasure inside for you to see is the treasure of friendship you've granted to me.

Today I pass the friendship ball to you.
Pass it on to someone who is a friend to you.
MY OATH TO YOU...
When you are sad.....I will dry your tears.

When you are scared.....I will comfort your fears.
When you are worried.....I will give you hope.
When you are confused.....I will help you cope.
And when you are lost....And can't see the light, I shall be your beacon.....Shining ever so bright.
This is my oath.....I pledge till the end.

Why you may ask?.....Because you're my friend.
You can share this post if you like too..share it with your friends

So Many Things To Do!

Thanks to Daniel Griffin for the guest post.

The Internet is not just for young people any longer, senior citizens are learning how to use it and they are starting to use the Internet almost everyday, they are finding that it is a much-needed thing in order to function in today's computer oriented society. They are also finding out that there is a lot more to using the computer then to search for the latest model of invisible hearing aids.

A senior citizen who enjoys traveling and going to the different casinos all around the country, may find that once they reach a certain age it is not necessarily convenient for them to venture out to the different locations even with a miracle ear hearing aid. They may find that traveling gets harder for them as they get older. One good thing about utilizing the Internet is that they can actually play some of the casino type games online. The good thing about the casino games is that they can even win money.

A senior citizen that is a widow may find that they will benefit from signing up for a senior citizens dating website. A senior citizens dating website is one of the newest things to hit the Internet dating. It will serve as a great opportunity for senior citizen to be able to meet someone who has similar interests. They will just need to know how to sign on to the Internet and do a search for senior citizen dating sites.

Another good use for senior citizens to use the internet is to transfer money from their checking account into the checking account of a loved one. A lot of time Senior citizens want to ensure that their grandchildren have the money that they need; online banking will allow them to easily conduct the transfers.

Good article from John Hopkins

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY ('TRY', BEING THE KEY WORD) TO ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY...

Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins :

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3 When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastrointestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply

*CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses, but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in color. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes to nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines becomes putrefied and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the bodies own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, un-forgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

1. No plastic containers in micro.

2. No plastic water bottles in freezer.

3. No plastic wrap in microwave.

Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This information is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially breast cancer. Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr. Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Cast le Hospital, was on a TV program to explain this health hazard.. He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat. He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners, instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper. The dioxin problem is one of the reasons.

Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins to actually melt out of the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.

Got this from email and thought of sharing it with my readers. This is an article that should be sent to anyone important in your life.
