No renters?

One of my friend visited me today. They were our neighbor here before but they moved somewhere else and they rent their house to somebody. This afternoon I was about to fall asleep at our bed and my kids went to our bedroom and told me that somebody was knocking at our door I told them to just ignore them whoever it was and told them to go to their room and go to sleep. One minute later they came back again and told me that they were calling my name and I am wondering who in the world that was. I am not expecting visitors so I changed clothes and ran downstairs. It was my neighbor friend. She surprised me.

Anyway, they told me that the people rent their house just left so right now nobody is renting on their house. Well, I feel bad for them and I hope they can find somebody to rent their house. What's crazy is the last renter just left without telling them. I can't believed people do that. If you ever rent a house you need to make sure to call the owner first before you leave. It is just not nice when you just left without telling the owner.

Well, anyway it was so nice to see them this afternoon we had fun visiting with them specially Joey and Jodel they were playing with Julia. Joey's girlfriend Naks! just kidding. Well, I hope they can find good renters.

Spoiling My New Puppy

Thanks to guest blogger June Marshall for the post.

We recently got a new puppy. I have fallen in love with her completely. I can't help but spoil her rotten buying new things all the time. I got online today with my wild blue high speed internet and ended up on a pet store. I found her a pink collar that has little rhinestones in it. She is going to look like such a little diva with this collar on her. I also got her a pink bed that says princess on it. She tries to sleep on our bed now and so I am hoping that when she has her own that will help her to sleep on it instead. I also found a great price on some treats. I got her several different packages. She is going to be so spoiled rotten, but I just can't help myself. This little puppy already has me wrapped around her paws. I know she is going to enjoy everything I ordered for her. I will watch her run around wagging her tail and then licking my face. It will be worth every penny that I spent because she will be so excited. I’m sure she is very happy that we get satellite internet connection with wild blue cedar city, ut . Someday I might have to get her a friend to play with as well. Another dog would be a lot of fun.

Yummy Dessert

Mom and Dad love my fruit salad. I made some last week and I gave them a bowl for them to try and they just love it so much. Mom asked me a recipe and she want me to make more of it. Well, I am just so glad they like it.

This weekend we are going to attend Jordan reunion in Lovelady and I guess I am going to bring a dessert fruit salad. I don't know if other people likes but I am pretty sure that they will. It's very good dessert. Fruit Salad is one of the famous dessert in the Philippines. All Filipinos love it. It's just so delicious!

Here's the recipe:

1 big can of fruit cocktail, 2 cans of cherry fruit cocktail, 1 can sweet condensed, 1 can small nestle cream, 3 bottle of coconut gel 1 red, 1 green and white, 1 kaong. 1 or hafl cheedar cheese.
Drain fruit cocktal, kaong and coconut gel together. When it's all drained put it in the big bowl, add nestle cream, milk, and cubes of cheese. Put it in refregerator over night. Eat it in the morning. Really good try it guys! You'll love it. You can find coconut gel at the asian store. That is really easy dessert and it's very nammy!

Toilett Paper Commercial

This was written by guest blogger Victoria Berryman

My favorite commercial, comes from a toilet paper company. The first time I saw it, I couldn't stop laughing because of how funny it looked.

It's about a guy coming out of the bathroom, telling his wife that they are out of toilet paper. In an instance, you see a toilet paper roll fly up, barely striking the guy at the side of his head while it is flying by. The funny part about this is that as the roll is flying by, it shaves off a section of his hair because of how rough it supposedly is.

In the next scene, he comes out again, asking for another roll. Just to have it puff up into a million fluff balls because it’s too soft this time. Of course, the third time he dares to ask for another roll, hiding by the door, he is tossed the right toilet paper, which the commercial is for and everyone is happy. I just love the first part of the commercial, where he has a strip of hair missing after the paper roll zooming by.

I'm glad I have cable tv, where I can just record my favorite shows, and commercials to my DVR to watch over and over again.

Another Orchids

We went groceries the other day in HEB and hubby saw this cute little Orchids at the store so he bought one color purple. My husband loves Orchids. He have lots of orchids flower in the house now. I am just hoping that they don't die.

Well, that's my husband in the picture. He was holding the flower. We are going to transfer that flower into the bigger pot.

Anyway, it rained here today so I took all of the flowers and the plants outside. Rain waters are the best water for plants and flowers.

Kids love to play piano

My mother-in-law teach me how to play piano but I don't know why I just can't learn how to play piano. It is just so hard. I can't read notes. I really want to learn to play piano but I just can't do it. My husband gave me a piano and he also bought me a keyboard because I asked him too but I guess he is just wasting the money for it. I gaved up playing piano because I don't think I'll know. He bought me the keyboard 5 years ago when we don't have kids yet. Now that I have three kids I want my kids to learn how play piano. If I can't do it then maybe my kids can. I want my Mom to teach them or maybe I'll buy some DVDs that teach piano for beginners for my kids.

I really want them to learn to play piano and guitar. I also have guitar here and I want my kids to learn. I love music, I love to sing but I just couldn't play music instrument. So, hopefully my kids can learn it if I can't. I guess I am too old to play piano lol. The pictures above that's Jodel and Joey (my kids) They are so cute. They love to play piano.

Too late at night

Last night my friends here invited me to go out to have dinner outside like friday night out. I really want to go with them but they go out there like 11 pm in the night. It's way too late for me. It's a second time they invited me but I didn't go because they go there too late at night. I don't mind going with them if we go like 7-8 or 9 in the evening. You know what I mean guys? Please don't invite me to go out late at night there's no way hubby would like it. I didn't even tell Joel about it because I know his answer already lol.

Anyway, my friends here they are so nice people. We go out for dinner, have party just for fun. Life is so short we need to have fun and enjoy our life together.

Auto repair in Dallas, Texas

My husband and I, we sometimes go to the Dallas. We go there sometimes for a business trip. When we go with him my kids and I we just stay in the hotel, we go swimming or we go shopping while hubby is working. We go there sometimes to watch football also together with my husband's boss and co-workers. I love going with them because they are so fun to be with. I love Dallas, there are lots of nice things to do there like to watch football, go to six flags etc. They have lots of interesting places to see.

Well, if you go to Dallas and if it happens that your car or your Chevrolet Silverado breaks down and if it needs brake job or if the AC is not working all you need to do is go to Dallas auto repair. They have tons of auto repair shops and mechanics to choose from. Repairpal.com is one of the good place to find for auto repair shops and mechanics online.

Anyway, I can't wait to go back to Dallas to visit my friend Janice. I miss hanging out with her. She go here in Houston sometimes to visit me and I really miss her. She is a good friend of mine since I was in high school.

Am I getting sick?

I don't feel so good today. I woke up this morning feeling sick, my head is hurting me and I have sore throat. I don't know why? Please, don't let me sick. I can't get sick because I have kids here they need me. I really hate this feeling. My head right now is going to explode! Arrgh..

Last night, I had a bad dream. I was dreaming about my sister. She died long time ago and why I was dreaming about her? I don't know but in my dream she is trying to get me. Grrrhh I am scared really, and then all of the sudden I couldn't hardly move my body and then I want to shout but I couldn't. I hate that feeling and I hate bad dreams really! And I saw a one eye that is scary well, I don't want to talk about it right now It just scares me you know. Bad dreams I hate you! Please get out of my life!!!!

Good place to go Orlando

My friends went to Orlando last week and I really enjoyed looking at their pictures in facebook. They had so much fun and I am glad. I wish we could go there for vacation but unfortunately we can't go this year because of my husband's health. I don't really want to travel specially right now that I have a small baby and my kids are not big enough for the rides yet and most of all my husband's situation is not good at all. Hope God will heal him!

Anyway talking about vacation, why don't you guys get Orlando vacation packages and bring your family and friends there. I am sure you are going to enjoy your vacation in Orlando. That is one of the famous place to go.

Ads

I went outside this morning and saw the pizza advertisement hangs on our front door. I missed buying pizza and my kids loves to eat pizza and I think I am going to get some for supper tonight since I have coupons. Sometimes I like it when people put ads on our front door. That is really one of the best way to advertise product. Some people love it and some people don't.

Well, If you own a business, restaurant or something else you can advertise your business using full color printing door hangers. PrintDirectforLess.com offers you a variety of discount prices for full color door hanger printing.

Fruit Salad

I made fruit salad yesterday and it is so good. I love fruit salad very much! So Yummy. I am the only one who eats fruit salad. My kids and my husband don't like it. They don't know what's their missing. I gave Dad some because he told me once before that he loves it too so I hope he likes my fruit salad.

What a Difference Our Neighborhood Watch Has Made

Guest post sent from Jesse Wingate

A few months ago, several families in our neighborhood were the victims of home robberies. Within a week's time, 4 different homes were burglarized during broad daylight while the owners were gone to work. That is when we decided to put a neighborhood watch plan into action. We advertised this fact on local radio stations and also in the local newspaper. I also found out how to get free alarm in Georgia for my home. This is also something we let the public know about in hopes of preventing any potential robberies.

Those of us who work during the day don't have to worry about home break-ins because we know our neighbors are keeping watch by driving through our neighborhood frequently while we are at work. Those who work at night can also feel safe because we have a couple of different neighbors doing the same thing at night. We have a meeting each week to designate which neighbors will be performing these home checks each day of the week. We all try to take turns and share the responsibility. We also have local police authorities to patrol through our neighborhood at least once a day as well. It is such a relief to know we can now go out whenever we like and not have to worry about someone breaking into our homes.

FEMALE HEART ATTACKS

I was aware that female heart attacks are different, but this is the best description I've ever read.

Women and heart attacks (Myocardial infarction).. Did you know that women rarely have the same dramatic symptoms that men have when experiencing heart attack .. you know, the sudden stabbing pain in the chest, the cold sweat, grabbing the chest & dropping to the floor that we see in the movies. Here is the story of one woman's experience with a heart attack.

'I had a heart attack at about 10:30 PM with NO prior exertion, NO prior emotional trauma that one would suspect might have brought it on. I was sitting all snugly & warm on a cold evening, with my purring cat in my lap, reading an interesting story my friend had sent me, and actually thinking, 'A-A-h, this is the life, all cozy and warm in my soft, cushy Lazy Boy with my feet propped up.

A moment later, I felt that awful sensation of indigestion, when you've been in a hurry and grabbed a bite of sandwich and washed it down with a dash of water, and that hurried bite seems to feel like you've swallowed a golf ball going down the esophagus in slow motion and it is most uncomfortable. You realize you shouldn't have gulped it down so fast and needed to chew it more thoroughly and this time drink a glass of water to hasten its progress down to the stomach. This was my initial sensation---the only trouble was that I hadn't taken a bite of anything since about 5:00 p.m.

After it seemed to subside, the next sensation was like little squeezing motions that seemed to be racing up my SPINE (hind-sight, it was probably my aorta spasms), gaining speed as they continued racing up and under my sternum (breast bone, where one presses rhythmically when administering CPR).

This fascinating process continued on into my throat and branched out into both jaws. 'AHA!! N OW I stopped puzzling about what was happening -- we all have read and/or heard about pain in the jaws being one of the signals of an MI happening, haven't we? I said aloud to myself and the cat, Dear God, I think I'm having a heart attack!

I lowered the foot rest dumping the cat from my lap, started to take a step and fell on the floor instead. I thought to myself, If this is a heart attack, I shouldn't be walking into the next room where the phone is or anywhere else ... but, on the other hand, if I don't, nobody will know that I need help, and if I wait any longer I may not be able to get up in a moment.

I pulled myself up with the arms of the chair, walked slowly into the next room and dialed the Paramedics ... I told her I thought I was having a heart attack due to the pressure building under the sternum and radiating into my jaws. I didn't feel hysterical or afraid, just stating the facts. She said she was sending the Paramedics over immediately, asked if the front door was near to me, and if so, to un-bolt the door and then lie down on the floor where they could see me when they came in.

I unlocked the door and then laid down on the floor as instructed and lost consciousness, as I don't remember t he medics coming in, their examination, lifting me onto a gurney or getting me into their ambulance, or hearing the call they made to St. Jude ER on the way, but I did briefly awaken when we arrived and saw that the radiologist was already there in his surgical blues and cap, helping the medics pull my stretcher out of the ambulance. He was bending over me asking questions (probably something like 'Have you taken any medications?') but I couldn't make my mind interpret what he was saying, or form an answer, and nodded off again, not waking up until the Cardiologist and partner had already threaded the teeny angiogram balloon up my femoral artery into the aorta and into my heart where they installed 2 side by side stints to hold open my right coronary artery.

'I know it sounds like all my thinking and actions at home must have taken at least 20-30 minutes before calling the paramedics, but actually it took perhaps 4-5 minutes before the call, and both the fire station and St. Jude are only minutes away from my home, and my Cardiologist was already to go to the OR in his scrubs and get going on restarting my heart (which had stopped somewhere between my arrival and the procedure) and installing the stints.

'Why have I written all of this to you with so much detail? Because I want all of you who are so important in my life to know what I learned first hand.’

Be aware that something very different is happening in your body not the usual men's symptoms but inexplicable things happening (until my sternum and jaws got into the act). It is said that many more women than men die of their first (and last) MI because they didn't know they were having one and commonly mistake it as indigestion, take some Maalox or other anti-heartburn preparation and go to bed, hoping they'll feel better in the morning when they wake up ... which doesn't happen. My female friends, your symptoms might not be exactly like mine, so I advise you to call the Paramedics if ANYTHING is unpleasantly happening that you've not felt before. It is better to have a 'false alarm' visitation than to risk your life guessing what it might be!

Note that I said 'Call the Paramedics.' And if you can take an aspirin. Ladies, TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!

Do NOT try to drive yourself to the ER - you are a hazard to others on the road.

Do NOT have your panicked husband who will be speeding and looking anxiously at what's happening with you instead of the road.

Do NOT call your doctor -- he doesn't know where you live and if it's at night you won't reach him anyway. And if it's daytime, his assistants (or answering service) will tell you to call the Paramedics. He doesn't carry the equipment in his car that you need to be saved! The Paramedics do, principally OXYGEN that you need ASAP. Your Dr. will be notified later.

Don 't assume it couldn't be a heart attack because you have a normal cholesterol count. Research has discovered that a cholesterol elevated reading is rarely the cause of an MI (unless it's unbelievably high and/or accompanied by high blood pressure). MIs are usually caused by long-term stress and inflammation in the body, which dumps all sorts of deadly hormones into your system to sludge things up in there.

Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.

Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive.
Got this from email and thought I share it with you guys, If you are reading these messages, Please share it to your friends and family....
Thanks

Home Security

Early this morning there was a man knocking at the front door. I didn't hear the door bill rang but my two kids heard it and told me that there was a guy outside knocking at our door but when I ran downstairs and opened the door the guy left, he was already far so I didn't try to call him. I don't know who was the guy and why he was knocking on our door. He may have something important to tell me or something else who knows.

Anyway, I cooked supper this evening and I am so glad Joel came home early. He helped me prepared food in the table and suddenly the door bill rang again and when I opened the door, it was the guy this morning. So my husband went outside and talked to him for about 30 minutes. He was selling home security equipment and the installation.

Most of our neighbors here they have home security on their house. I asked hubby if we could put one on our house but he don't want too right now because we are not going to stay here long. We are planning to move this month and maybe on our next house we are going to put one. Home security team is just right there in the corner so if we need them we are going contact them for sure. It is always good to be safe and I know it’s good to have home security on the house.

Anyway, this evening I am here reading articles about police security tips and some articles from Forth Worth, PD website about their home security tips and I am so glad I decided to read their post. You guys need to read it too it's really good to know if your house is target from criminals and thieves specially if you don't have home security. You need to always lock your doors and garage doors. I sometimes forget to lock our doors in the night time and I will never forget that anymore. It is really scary if someone will go to your house and kill you or steal something from you. It's really good to have a home security for sure.

Everyone is talking about lakers

When I opened my facebook account this evening, almost all of my friends were talking about lakers lol. They are so crazy about this game. I guess they won that's why everyone is talking about it. I am not a big fan of basketball that's why I don't really watch it. Hubby don't watch it either but all of my friends they are so crazy about the game.

Television Movies and Sports That I Love to Record

This is a guest post by Vivian Hoey

Using my DVR is simple. I choose the programs I want to record and press only one button to record each program. My DVR is compatible with my DircecTv satellite dish.

I love to record movies on my DVR. I work a full-time job, so I don't have much time for TV watching during the week. I simply record the movies I'd like to watch so that I can watch them over the weekend when I have free time. I love romances, such as The Notebook and Titanic. Both have been saved on my DVR for months. Whenever I want to watch one of those movies, I just press a few buttons and it plays on my widescreen in the den. I also enjoy action movies and drama. I have A Few Good Men saved on my DVR, and I probably watch it more often than anything else. I love the dialogue in that film and I think all of the acting is top-notch.

It's also fun to record direct tv ncaa basketball and watch them later. Also, in a few weeks, I will start to watch the Wimbledon tennis matches. My brothers and I will all try to pick the winner in both the men’s and the women’s tournament. It's a tradition our family has recognized for the past twenty years.

Hubby is home

My husband went to work this morning but he went home early because he is not feeling so good. Right now, he is working here at our house and draw some cabinets even if he is not feeling so well. Anyway, Dad stopped by at our house lunch time. We eat adobong chiken and rice lunch and I bake brownies. It was so good.

I am going to watch movie later with hubby when he gets done on his work.

Planning to build an online store

Are you guys planning to build a store online? if you do, you will need credit card processing for sure. So your customers can pay you by using credit cards. Making an online store is not easy at all that's why I am studying on how to do all of that right now because hubby and I are planning to build store online soon.

Well anyway, if you need to conduct credit card processing on your website? you need to apply at cardaccept.com when you are ready. They are going to help you through every step of the process

Can you believed that I have acne? Blackheads, whiteheads, pimples I guess that's acne right? Well, I had two pimples in my chin two weeks ago and right now I can still see the black mark on my chin I really hate it. Its fading away but I can still see it. One more week this will go away I hope. I don't like blackheads and white heads it pisses me off when It shows up on my face. I wish I have adult acne treatment. My Mother text me today. I sent her money last week for them to use and today she text me and asked me if they could use the money and make a fish pond. When I recieved her text it surprised me lol and I replied "do what"? LOL.. a fish pond? I don't think so... fish pond needs lots of water.

Well, I don't really care what they are going to do. LOL..

Anyway, tomorrow we are going to my in-laws. They are going to have business meeting again. Talking about business, I am curious to know if they have business insurance they probably has one but I am not sure. So, I am going to ask my husband tomorrow if they have one or not.

For me, It's good to have insuance on your business whether you have small or big businesses.

Plans

My husband is going to have an oil change perform on our SUV this weekend at Louetta Automotive. He always go to that place because they have a good service and the price is fair. They have done brake job, repaired the linkage on our truck, and the oil change.

If you are from Houston and have problem with your vehicle I recommend you to go to Houston auto repair and find you an auto repair shop close from where you live.

Anyway, next week I am planning to go back to DPS and get my driver license. I went to DPS trying to get my driver license the other day but it was full I have to go back there early in the morning. I don't know why Houston DPS have always full of people.

When I get my driver license I am hoping that my husband will buy me a car Acura TL.

The Meaning of a Flag

First you must understand that every military veteran, upon entering military
service, signed a blank check made payable; to the United States of
America, for an amount up to and including his life. Our respect and love
for our flag and country is the most important aspect of our lives.
Without either, our way of life disappears. There would be no protectors
for our families or nation.

The flag drapped coffin is the final respect given to a fallen military member, be they active, veteran or retired. It is the release of his or her oath of duty;
to protect and defend the constutution of the United States against all enemies,
foreign and domestic. It is their final resting place of peace. The
folding of the flag is special to that person, lying in state, under the
flag.

All Americans should be given this lesson. Those who think that America is an arrogant nation should really reconsider that thought. Our founding fathers used GOD's word and teachings to establish our Great Nation and it's high time Americans get re-educated about this Nation's history.

Pass it along and be proud of the country we live in and even more proud of those who serve to protect our 'GOD GIVEN' rights and freedoms. I hope you take the time to read this ... To understand what the flag draped coffin really means ... Here is how to understand the flag that laid upon it and is surrendered to so many widows
and widowers.

Do you know that at military funerals, the 21-gun salute stands for the sum of the numbers
in the year 1776?

Have you ever noticed the honor guard pays meticulous attention to correctly folding the United States of America Flag 13 times? You probably thought it was to symbolize
the original 13 colonies, but we learn something new every day!

The 1st
fold of the flag is a symbol of life.

The 2nd
fold is a symbol of the belief in eternal life.

The 3rd
fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veterans departing the ranks
who gave a portion of their lives for the defense of the country to attain peace
throughout the world.

The 4th
fold represents the weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God,
it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in time of war for His divine
guidance.

The 5th
fold is a tribute to the country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, 'Our
Country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right; but it is
still our country, right or wrong.'

The 6th
fold is for where people's hearts lie. It is with their heart that they
pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and the Republic
for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice
for all.

The 7th fold is a tribute to its Armed
Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that they protect their country and
their flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the
boundaries of their republic.

The 8th fold is a tribute to the one who
entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of
day.

The 9th fold is a tribute to womanhood, and
Mothers. For it has been through their faith, their love, loyalty and devotion
that the character of the men and women who have made this country great has
been molded.

The 10th fold is a tribute to the father,
for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of their country
since they were first born.

The 11th fold represents the lower portion
of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies in the Hebrews eyes,
the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The 12th fold represents an emblem of
eternity and glorifies, in the Christians eyes, God the Father, the Son and Holy
Spirit.

The 13th fold, or when the flag is
completely folded, the stars are uppermost reminding them of their nation’s
motto, 'In God We Trust.'

After the flag is completely folded and tucked in,
it takes on the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us of the soldiers
who served under General George Washington, and the Sailors and Marines who
served under Captain John Paul Jones, who were followed by their comrades and
shipmates in the Armed Forces of the United States, preserving for them the
rights, privileges and freedoms they enjoy today.

There are some traditions and ways of doing things
that have deep meaning. In the future, you'll see flags folded and now you will
know why. Share this with the children you love and all others who love what is
referred to, the symbol of ' Liberty and Freedom.'

The veterans are the reason you have the right to
disagree or to agree with the government without fear of reprisal. They
are the reason we live in a free land. Next time you pass a veteran, thank
him or her for serving. They deserve it.

(Got this from email thought I share it with you guys) Thanks for reading.

Online classes: A real perk for mom!

Thanks for the post Lashina Dawn!

As a busy mother of two, making the decision to return to school seemed a little overwhelming. It took a lot of thought and discussion with my husband before I finally made the decision to do so. Once I began classes I had some live, on campus, courses and a few online classes. I have found that, as a mom of two young children, the online classes are definitely a better option for me.

The first online class that I took was psychology. I had taken a basic psychology class on campus many years ago and had not done too well, so the thought of taking the class online was a bit unnerving. I was initially concerned that I would not do well because I wouldn't have the benefit of the instructors lectures. I signed up for my class and hughesnet internet Alabama service. Instead, I found this first online class experience to be very positive. The instructor set the class format up so that we were able to work at our own pace as long as we met the deadlines for turning in assignments and taking exams. In this situation, exams were even online which meant I never had to go to the campus the entire semester. It was a wonderful experience that ended very happily for me with a strong "A" to add to my transcripts and improve my GPA.

I have since taken medical terminology, introduction to occupational therapy, biology 101 and communications all online. Overall, I have enjoyed these classes in their online format and I have been successful in completion. The benefit of scheduling and the ability to do my course work while my children sleep can not be beat. The only suggestion that I have is to make sure you have a satellite internet service and practice time management. I don't know what I would have done without my hughes net.

Dreaming

I had a weird dream last night. I was dreaming of person that I am not supposed to dream about. Really weird. I know this person but I didn't even think that I am going to dream about this person. Yeah I am not going to tell who this person is because you might know haha well, I just want to know why I was dreaming of someone. In my dream this person is so close to me but in real it's really not. I sometimes think maybe this person is thinking about me that's why I was dreaming of ------. LOL..

Clorox vs. Peroxide

VERY interesting and inexpensive. This was written by Becky Ransey of Indiana (a doctor's Wife), and I want to share it with you. She was over recently for coffee and smelled the bleach I was using to clean my toilet and counter tops. This is what she told me. 'I would like to tell you of the benefits of that Plain little ole bottle of 3% peroxide you can get for under $1.00 at any drug store. What does bleach cost?

My husband has been in the medical field for over 36 years, And most doctors don't tell you about peroxide. Have you Ever smelled bleach in a doctor's office? NO!!!

Why? because it smells, and it is not healthy! Ask the nurses who work in the doctor's offices, and ask them if they use bleach at home. They are wiser and know better!

Did you also know bleach was invented in the late 40's? It's chlorine, folks! And it was used to kill our Troops. Peroxide was invented during WWI in the 20's. It was used to save and help cleanse the needs of our troops and hospitals.

Please think about this:
1. Take one capful (the little white cap that comes with the bottle) and hold in your mouth for 10 minutes daily, then spit it out. (I do it when I bathe.) No more canker sores, and your teeth will be whiter without expensive pastes. Use it instead of mouthwash.
2. Let your toothbrushes soak in a cup of peroxide to keep them free of germs.
3. Clean your counters and table tops with peroxide to kill germs and leave a fresh smell. Simply put a little on your dishrag when you wipe, or spray it on the counters.
4. After rinsing off your wooden cutting board, pour peroxide on it to kill salmonella and other bacteria.
5. I had fungus on my feet for years until I sprayed a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and water on them (especially the toes) every night and let dry.
6. Soak any infections or cuts in
3% peroxide for five to ten minutes several times a day. My husband has seen gangrene that would not heal with any medicine but was healed by soaking in peroxide.
7. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of peroxide and Water and keep it in every bathroom to disinfect without Harming your septic system like bleach or most other Disinfectants will.
8. Tilt your head back and spray into nostrils with your 50/50 mixture whenever you have a cold, plugged sinus. It will bubble and help to kill the bacteria. Hold for a few minutes, and then blow your nose into a tissue.
9. If you have a terrible toothache and cannot get to a dentist right away, put a capful of 3% peroxide into your mouth and hold it for ten minutes several times a day. The pain will lessen greatly.
10. And of course, if you like a natural look to your hair, spray the 50/50 solution on your wet hair after a shower and comb it through. You will not have the peroxide-burnt blonde hair like the hair dye packages but more natural highlights if your hair is a light brown, reddish, or dirty blonde. It also lightens gradually, so it's not a drastic change.
11. Put a half bottle of peroxide in your bath to help get rid of boils, fungus, or other skin infections.
12. You can also add a cup of peroxide instead of bleach to a load of whites in your laundry to whiten them. If there is blood on clothing, pour it directly on the soiled spot. Let it sit for a minute, then rub it and rinse with cold water. Repeat if necessary.
13. I use peroxide to clean my mirrors. There is no smearing, which is why I love itso much for this.
14. Another place it's great is in the bathroom, if someone has been careless & has wet on the floor around the toilet & it's begun to smell of urine. Just put some peroxide in a spray bottle & spray. In the blink of any eye all the smell will be gone & the bacteria eliminated!
I could go on and on. It is a little brown bottle no home should be without! With prices of most necessities rising, I'm glad there's a way to save tons of money in such a simple, healthy manner! ' This information really woke me up. I hope you gain something from it, too.

It's all about numbers

The Department Of Defense briefed the President this morning.
They told President Obama that 2 Brazilian soldiers were killed in Iraq .

To everyone's surprise, all the color drained from Obama's face.
Then he collapsed onto his desk, head in his hands, visibly shaken,
almost in tears.

Finally, he composed himself and, noticing the look on everyone
else’s face he quietly asked, "Just exactly how many is a Brazilian?"

This is not surprising, since he obviously has no understanding
of million, billion or trillion either.

Watching the Lakers with my Dad

This post is by my friend Lara Jenkin

Spring time is an exciting time for me because my dad and I get so pumped up to see the Lakers play every season. They have been our favorite team ever since I was a little girl. Our bonding time of watching the basketball games includes sitting on the couch with popcorn and root beer and vegging out with Direct TV. We cheer our favorite team on as Kobe dunks and the other players run around the court.

My dad has taught me about basketball over the years which has been an advantage to me. I understand what is going on the game which only adds to the passion I feel when the Lakers win or lose. When they win I am ecstatic and happy, but when they lose I am in a bad mood until they win again. Watching basketball games can be so addictive but I wouldn't trade these moments with my dad for anything in the world.

I also enjoy how spring is the season when the weather is warming up and we can spend time outdoors again. On warmer evenings we will watch the game outside. We can hang out in the backyard with the smaller TV my dad carries outside for us. We sometimes invite the neighbors over to join in on the fun of watching the Lakers win.
