Scholarships

I am so proud of my children because they are so smart. I have four kids two of them goes to school right now. My son is in second grader and his grades are awesome. His grades are all A's and I am so proud of him. One of my daughter is in Kindergarten and she is pretty smart as well. I am just hoping that they'll get scholarship when they are ready to go to college someday. That would really help them a lot..

When I was a little I have a friend that was so addicted in cigarettes. I think I was about 13 years old she was a girl okay. One time she gave me one and she wants me to try it and she showed me how to smoke I tried and guess what I don't like it at all. I was coughing bad when I tried it. I am so glad I don't like it and since that day I didn't like her much anymore. I told my Mother about it and she was so mad at me lol.

Anyway, I am so glad I didn't like it because If I did I probably addicted in cigarettes right now and I know how hard it is quit smoking. My God is watching me and he separated me from bad friends. Thank you Lord.

I know that there are lots of people out there that are addicted in cigarettes, if you are one of them then it is time for you  to quit. It is very dangerous to your health. Baby cough 6months old

Baby still coughing at night and It's really hard on me because I couldn't sleep well. She is fine in the daytime but coughs bad at night. It is so hard. I thought she is getting better but I guess not yet so I hope that she feels better soon.

When she coughs, I have to put vicks on her and it really helps I just kept on watching her. Right now she is sounds asleep we all went to bed around 2am this morning. Sigh, so hard to have a sick baby.. The other night she coughs bad and then threw up she scares me. If your baby cough bad you need to run to the Bathroom and turn on the hot shower and let it run for 5-10minutes the steam helps her breathe and help her calm. Now, I am sleepy!

Visiting Philippines

My Dad-in-law is in the Philippines right now. He is a missionary in the Philippines so I hope that God will watch over him while he is over there. I think he is going to stay there for two or three weeks. He always go there most of the time and do the mission work. Anyway, I wish I went him it has been a long time since I last visited my homeland. I miss my family and my home!

Practicing

I have been playing my guitar and my fingers are hurting lol. I really want to be good of playing guitar so I am practicing everyday. Hope I'll be good next year. I am teaching Jodel as well because it looks like she is interested and she loves to sing so I hope she'll be able to play guitar and sing someday I would really love them to learn on how to play guitar and piano and I hope they'll learn.

We missed the Jordan family thanksgiving this year because my kids were sick last weekend the 17th so my husband decided to stay home. Well, we missed it but that's okay there's more next year lol. Every year we do my husband's Family thanksgiving in San Antonio Texas from where all of my husband's family gather together and spend time to each other. They always do it a week before the real thanksgiving.  So anyway, we are going to do our Family thanksgiving here in the house on Thursday I mean our FAMILY me, my husband and my 4kids..

Grandma's gone :(

My grandmother passed away a week ago and it hurts! I will never see her again huhu I love her so much. I always visit my grandma when I was in Philippines. She was a joker and she always made me laugh. I was really hoping to see her again in person but I guess not anymore. I knew that there's something bad gonna happen to her since she admitted to the hospital. I was planning to go home this year but I cancelled because of the baby so, anyway It's hard to accept that she is gone but I know she is now in the hands of the Lord. She may rest in peace. She is gonna be in my heart forever..

Peavy

One of my friend invited me to a halloween party next week. Going out with friends and partying is really fun but I have kids now I can't really just go right away. For me I would rather spend time with my family and kids rather than going out to the party every Saturday lol. It's okay once in a while but going to a party every weekend? is not really cool for me anymore lol..

So anyway, I am sure they are all gonna have fun because we Filipina loves to dance and sing when we all get together. Some of my friends house has disco lights and big speakers on their house haha..but you know what? it's pretty cool and fun.

Baby sick

Joanne is sick I think. She is been crying a lot today and it's not fun. Joel and I watched a movie called the vow. It was awesome movie but Joanne kept on interrupting us lol. Yeah it was not fun but I think she is not feeling good. She have runny nose and I hope she don't get worse. Hope I can sleep to night.

Anyway, I love the vow movie it was based on a true story. I don't really like the ending but it was cool movie..

We are going camping tomorrow and yeah it's gonna be fun! I am sure my kids can't wait it too and I am sure they can't wait to grill marsmallows  as well lol. They love going camping! I am so happy to hear about my grandmother. She is in a good condition now. My mother was very thankful to us for helping my Lola. I love my Lola and I miss her so much. Supposed to be out tonight but..

My friend invited me to go out for dinner tonight but unfortunately I couldn't go. My baby is so attached with me now she doesn't want to take bottle anymore. She is now used to breastmilk and I think I am going to have a hard time for doing this. It is good for me to go out sometimes with friends but I don't know how I am going to do it now so I think I am going to be stuck at home now hmmm.. Well, I am going to try to bottle feed her tomorrow. She is almost 3months and I don't have plan to wean her yet I just want her take bottle sometimes but she refuses it.

Girlsssss

My daugher loves necklaces and other kinds of jewelries. Sometimes she drives me crazy lol. She's been asking me to go to the store and buy jewelries for her and I heard that every single day. Then, I bought her some but her little sister always breaks them so yesterday I gather all of her broken jewelries, put it together and made a new one. She loves it but she still wants me to go the store lol.

Having girls are expensive because they want this and that etc. Every day she asked me to buy dresses and jewelries lolsss.. Well, girls are fun but sometimes they drives you insane. Next time I go to the store I will buy her lots of bling blings and I am gonna let her make it. There are lots of beads, jewelries for kids that I found online that I want to get and I might get them at the store.

Digital recorder

I love shopping at Guitar Center. My husband and I went to one of their store close by and we bought a guitar and a keyboard. Then, my Mother-in-law gave me a piano so now I have guitar, keyboard and a piano. I am trying to teach my kids on how to play piano and a guitar. And I hope they are learning..

Anyway, I play on my guitar when I get bored. It really helped keeps my boredom away. I sometimes record songs on my computer but it doesn't sounds really good lol. I need to shop recording equipment like a portable recorder.

It's fun to record your own songs especially if you sing really well. My friends and I hang out together and all we do is dance and sing lol. Today is one of my brother and sister's bday. They were both born on the same date. Kinda cool isn't? I miss her though but I know she is happy in heaven. My brother Abram is in Manila working I hope and pray that God will always bless his family. Hope they will have a happy birthdaysssss...

Girlfriends

When I was in high school, I had a group of girlfriends that I always hung out with. There were eleven of us. People referred to us as “that girl group”. A couple of us may not have gotten along with each other, but for the most part we had a great time together. When we all went to college we managed to keep up with each other and always got together on our Christmas break and during the summer. Once we graduated and started our grown up lives, we spread out all over the country. But all these years later, we still manage to get together once a year. This year I am hosting the reunion at my home in San Diego, California. We will have a big seafood dinner at my house on Friday night. I plan to have music from our high school years playing in the background from our direct star tv. Then the next day we will all tour the great city of San Diego. I guess I will have to take a poll ahead of time to see what sites everyone wants to visit. Then on Sunday we will have a big brunch at a great restaurant near my house. I will spend the rest of Sunday afternoon shuffling everyone back to the airport to go home. It is kind of a pain when you are the host, but everyone always has such a great time. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

Home

My husband is home today. He is not feeling so good he have a headache and his stomach is hurting him. So I told him this morning to just stay home and he sure did listen to me lol.. Sometimes he forced himself to work even though he is not feeling good. Hope he feels better soon I don't like it when hubby is not feeling good...

Lola's better

My Grandmother was  in the hospital. Mother visited her and bought her medicine couple of weeks ago. Then she reported to me that Grandma is feeling better. I am so thankful to God and to those who prayed for her. I was so worried about her Mom said that she couldn't remember anymore at the time when she was in the hospital but I am sure glad she is better now. God is really powerful. He listened to us. I am hoping that I can be able to visit my family soon I miss them so bad.. I know we will be but not for now I can't go home because I am 7months pregnant and it's hard for me to travel so hope I could go home next year..

Dissapointed

I am so dissapointed to my sisters. I want my sisters to have a good life but unfortunately they didn't listen to me. Well, they  will regret later on.. I just hope that they are making the right decisions to their life. I am not gonna help them anymore. We have been helping them for the past years and now I am done with them.

When I was in College I want so bad to finish my studies but unfornately my parents cannot afford the tuition fees at school so I went to look for a job. My sisters are different. They are not looking for their future oh well, that's their life not mine so I am done with them..

I was 110lbs.couple of months ago and now I am 126lbs lol.. Of course I gained weight because I am pregnant. After I deliver this baby I am going to try hard to lose weight again lol. Pool safety fence

Summer is coming and swimming pool sounds really good on summer. Yesterday was a little hot here in Houston and my husband was complaning about how hot it is already and it's not even summer yet. How nice it is if you have your own pool so everytime you want to go swimming you can just run at your back door and go swimming.

Yesterday I printed coupons online. I want to start couponing so I can save few dollars. I am going to ask my husband to go groceries. I like it when he go groceries by himself so it would be fast instead of 5 of us going it makes it slower..  I found few coupons online like for breakfast food like cereals, cheese, crackers etc.. I want to start couponing from wallgreens and cvs but my husband is not really crazy about it LOL..

When we moved to California, my husband signed up for ADT Palo Alto to keep our family feeling safe and protected. A few weeks ago, I took another step to make all parents feel safe while their kids are in school. I participated in a fun-run to raise money to place AED’s, or automatic external defibrillators, in school hallways and gymnasiums. With this machine in place, the school staff can feel confident that if a child or other staff member was to encounter a cardiac arrhythmia, this machine could be hooked up to a person’s chest to shock the heart back into rhythm. Even more amazing is that precious minutes are not wasted in waiting for emergency personnel to arrive and begin treatment on a patient. These devices are portable and easy to use. The machines go so far as to give audio directions for where to apply the electrodes. They virtually do all of the work and take all of the guess-work out of operating such a device. With these AED’s in place, the hope is that no child will be lost due to lack of proper life-saving equipment.

Worried

My grandma is sick and she is in the hospital. I am so worried about her and I am afraid that I will not be able to see her again. Hope God will heal her... We sent her a little bit money. Mom visited her at the hospital the other day. Hope I can go home soon but I don't think I can go home this year..

Gemini Speakers

I love listening to the music in my iPod especially in the morning. Got lots of really nice songs that I downloaded from itunes. Some of my songs I downloaded online for free really cool huh? Anyway, I am planning to get a bigger speakers soon, we have small speakers here but I don't like them much. I would like to get the Gemini PA Speakers that I saw online today. That would be cool if I own one of those Gemini Speakers..

Pajamas..

Kids loves to wear pajamas at night. It makes them feel comforable. After they ate supper at night they take a bath, brush their teeth and wear their pajamas by themselves and by at 8pm I read them a story and put them on their beds. On the weekends they can sleep whenever they want too but on the weekdays I always put them to bed on time by 8pm.

Anyway, talking about pajamas, Mom always buys kids pajamas for my children lol. I don't remember buying pajamas for them because Mom always buys them. She sometimes give me some as well. I love to wear pajamas they are so comfy!

Spring break is coming oh yeah and I know there are lots of people that are planning to go on vacation including myself and my family. My husband and I can't decide yet where to go but he already told his boss about his plan to be off from his work next month while my kids are off from school. I am so excited.

Rainy Saturday

It has been raining a lot this week and when it rains I don't like to go anywhere lol. Well, it's just hard to go somewhere if you have kids with you. I am so glad last night my husband went groceries so we can just stay home all day today and enjoy being at home. I always enjoyed staying at home with kids and with my husband of course. I can't wait for summer days so we can go on vacation. Hubby is planning to be off from his work next month and I am excited for our vacation soon...

Ski Trip

The other day while I was looking into cable packages on www.expertsatellite.com, I remembered that I needed to take care of a few final details for our upcoming trip. My boyfriend and I decided to take a trip out west to snowboard. I grew up skiing and I have never snowboarded, but it was something I had always wanted to try out. We must have reserved our lodging at least 6 months ago, but were waiting on airline fares to drop before we purchased them. They finally did last week, so that was out of the way. Now, all that was left was to book a shuttle from the airport to our hotel. We didn’t really NEED to rent a car since there were shuttles in the area that took you to and from the various resorts. I started researching our options and found that shuttles were as expensive as renting a car! We were probably better off just getting a car since we would then be spared the small fees of the various local shuttles we would need to take throughout the week.

I love cookies

Lazy today

My husband and my three kids went to church today except me. I just don't feel like going to church today and I am glad huby understand it. When they left I rest for a little while then I started cleaning the house. I felt a little better after cleaning few things then I took a nap.. Now, I still have lots of clothes that I need to fold. There is no ending of folding clothes around here.

Nintendo

My son really wants to have a nintendo ds, and since I bought my ipod touch 4 he is the one playing on it all the time. So he forgot about wanting the nintendo ds LOL.. We have a wii too and that really entertained him a lot when he is at home. He plays video games on it every day.

Anyway, nintendo ds are cool too because you can play it everywhere you go just like my ipod touch we take it everywhere and he plays on it and I am actually planning to get an ipad 2 for me on my birthday. Anyway, if you don't have an ipod touch or anything else that you can carry to entertain your kids then get them nintendo ds. They are not expensive!

Ribs and steak for dinner

I grilled steak and pork ribs for super for us. It was delicious! I didn't eat lunch that's why I was so hungry and grilled at our patio. Tomorrow my friends are coming over but I don't really feel like doing anything tomorrow I might cancel it.. hmmm..

Migraine

I have few friends that are suffering from migraine. I can really tell that they are having a hard time! I am so glad I don't have a migraine. I get headache sometimes but it will go away if I take a medicine. I am just hoping that they will get better soon.

Today is hubby's holiday off. I love it when he is at home. Tomorrow is back to work again on him and back to school on my son. Holiday is over! :(

The New Mom

Being a new mom is great and it’s so nice that we bought the bigger house before the baby came. I would hate it if we were still in that condo with Casey and myself AND our son so it’s really nice to have the second and third bedrooms to give us more room to move around in. We got a dog, too, so having the backyard for him to play in has been crucial, too. I went to http://www.texaselectricityproviders.com when we first moved in to get our energy rates down and I also spent a lot of time looking into low-maintanence grass options for the backyard and hired a lawncare company to come a few times a week. It’s nice that I’m finally able to call this place our own and that we aren’t living underneath or above anyone anymore…there’s something to be said for living in a single family home. I love my little family and I can’t wait to expand it further one day when we decide we’re ready to have more kids!
