I love to play guitar

On our wedding day someone gave me a guitar as a gift. I think it was one of my husband's friend that gave me. I play the basic chords only though and I want to learn more so bad. I have been playing guitar here like three to four times a week. I want my kids to learn on how to play guitar also and I want them to learn the piano as well but I am not a good teacher. So, what do I do? I think I am just going to research online for the answer..
