Making the Rounds with Spiderman and Hulk

I appreciate the guest post, Jewel Rodgers

Halloween is our family's favorite time of year. It allows us to get dressed up, act silly and eat a whole lot of candy. This year, my kids are old enough to appreciate the time we spend together more than before. The kids are now old enough to possibly be able to remember these times once they get older.

Since both my sons better understand how much fun going trick or treating for Halloween can be, I decided to let each of them pick out their own costumes. Being that they are still little and somewhat close in age, they both wanted to get the same costume at first. The youngest picked out his Spiderman costume first and his brother saw it and loved it. To make matters worse, a small amount of bickering broke out. I then reminded them of how much fun trick or treating would be with their costumes and that calmed them down. My oldest then settled down and picked out his "cool" Hulk costume.

Halloween finally arrived and we had tons of fun and tons of candy! Everyone was happy. We ended the day wonderfully by going home and settling down to review and eat our candy while watching some good ole' satellite TV from expertsatellite.com. A great relaxing end to a fun filled day of trick or treating as a family.
