I appreciate the guest post, Jewel Rodgers
Halloween is our family's favorite time of year. It allows us to get dressed up, act silly and eat a whole lot of candy. This year, my kids are old enough to appreciate the time we spend together more than before. The kids are now old enough to possibly be able to remember these times once they get older.
Since both my sons better understand how much fun going trick or treating for Halloween can be, I decided to let each of them pick out their own costumes. Being that they are still little and somewhat close in age, they both wanted to get the same costume at first. The youngest picked out his Spiderman costume first and his brother saw it and loved it. To make matters worse, a small amount of bickering broke out. I then reminded them of how much fun trick or treating would be with their costumes and that calmed them down. My oldest then settled down and picked out his "cool" Hulk costume.
Halloween finally arrived and we had tons of fun and tons of candy! Everyone was happy. We ended the day wonderfully by going home and settling down to review and eat our candy while watching some good ole' satellite TV from expertsatellite.com. A great relaxing end to a fun filled day of trick or treating as a family.

Worried
We went to Joel's doctor's office. I drove again to Houston downtown at Baylor College of Medicine . Looks like we always go there everyday since tuesday after his surgery. I don't like driving over there because of the traffic. Anyway, Joel's doctor checked him. He have lots of scar tissue inside. I am so worried about my husband. He is not feeling so good at all.

Bender's Big Score - My Favorite Animated Movie to Watch on Satellite TV
The article written by Victor Flowers
One of the best animated movies ever comes from the best animated show on television, Futurama. Bender's Big Score marks the return of the show after the first cancellation, and while it is a movie riddled with cameos, it still manages to maintain the spark that made Futurama one of the most enjoyable shows on television. The plot centers around Bender committing his typical hi-jinx, as the Mexican robot helps time traveling scam artists steal history's most valuable treasures. The time travel mechanism is a tattoo on Fry's buttocks written in binary. These stays in line with Futurama's history of satisfying mouth-breathing nerds with hints of math and science.
The best part of Bender's Big Score is the shots they take at the executives who fired them in the first place. Grinding them up into a special all-purpose powder, the cast of Futurama makes a number of jokes at their expense, which I'm sure angered these faceless oligarchs as they sat in their luxurious mansions drinking fine wine and being massaged by supermodels. Then they realized that no one in the public knows who they are and continued being fabulously opulent and rich. However, this was interesting to me because the smart people at Futurama didn't realize this, or were merely venting while knowing the futility of taking a shot at the people in power. I watched Bender's Big Score on Comedy Central on satellite TV from http://www.directstartv.com/directv_equipment/directv_dvr/directv_dvr_features.html

Watching The Little Mermaid
Thanks for the post, Vernon Lowe
Last night I watched my all-time favorite animated kids' movie, Disney's 'The Little Mermaid'. It never fails to amaze me how fantastic the artists and computer animators are in this digital age.
I bought the VCR tape ages ago when it first came out, when my daughter was 8 years old (she's 26 now). It's actually difficult to find this movie on TV anymore but I have satellite TV from www.CannonSatellite.com so I get to see it now and again, since my tape is kaput. My daughter was obsessed with the movie so we watched it too many times to count. We wore it out!
I love this story even though Disney gave it a happy ending, in contrast to Hans Christian Andersen's original. The animation is simply gorgeous; it is even superior to the original 'Fantasia' which was the gold standard of animated movies. The action is flawless and the wealth of detail blows me away.
The Little Mermaid musical soundtrack is also stunning. You can enjoy listening to it without even watching the movie, but don't pass up the opportunity to see 'The Little Mermaid' whenever you can. I'll be looking forward to my next viewing, hopefully with my granddaughter.

A taste of the state
Guest post written by Dan Ronson
My cousin was going to be visiting me last week so as soon as I found out the actual dates that he was going to be here, I realized that the state fair was going to be going on at that time so I told him that we should go since it's only about thirty minutes away from my house.
My cousin is a huge foodie, but he had never been to a state fair, so before he came for the visit, I went online with my clear internet and found some info about what he could expect to find there from teh food vendors.
Once he did finally get here last week, he was so excited to go to the fair and try out a lot of the fair food. He also tried the deep fried beer because he was just so curious about it. We also ate some classic food like candy apples and corn dogs, but then he also tried a corn dog that was dipped in hash browns on the outside of it, which looked so delicious.

My Baseball Ordeal
I appreciate the guest post, Kelvin Armstrong
So last Sunday I got tickets to the Yankees game going on this Thursday, Ive only been to two professional baseball games in my life and they were years ago. They were a birthday present from my pops and I planned on taking my wife with me. Well needless to say, yesterday morning my lovely lovely wife threw my clothes in the wash for and it just so happens my jeans with the tickets were in there. I nearly had a heart attack, I especially didn't have the heart to tell my dad I had ruined the tickets. So I made a white lie. Instead of lounging out on the stands I sat on the couch with my girl, turned on the satellite tv from direc4u.com to watch the game and all because one load of laundry. But its a lesson learned in the long run, never count on something until it happens and the most important one....always check your husbands jeans pocket before you put them in the wash. Every wife should try doing that and maybe there would be less confrontation.

Trade Show displays
Trade show can be one of the best source of your new business and one of the good way to attract people. You need to create an attractive trade show displays if you ever want to do it so many people will go to your trade show.
Trade show displays are used for displaying products and services at various events. Mainly used for trade shows, they come in a variety of shapes and surfaces. There are custom trade shows made of panels, laminates and metals. There are portable displays that pop up and are ready in a few minutes.
Decorative truss is used at trade shows also. It can be custom made to fit your display needs and you can hang graphics and banners from them. Truss is also used in night clubs, stores, churches, concerts and as home décor. So if you ever need decorative truss just check the link above.
Logo floor mats used by all types of business and organizations as entry mats with a logo or message printed on them. Trade show exhibitors are starting to use them as cheap printed flooring, because they come in larger sizes too.
Exhibit booths use pipe and drape to delineate a section of flooring for trade shows. So companies exhibiting at trade shows rent a space (exhibit booth) and fill it with their displays for presentations.
Anyway, If you guys need anything for your trade show just go to camelbackdisplays.com

DID I MARRY THE RIGHT PERSON?
This is a very good article. Those who are still single may learn something from here...
Those who are already married or in a commitment may take it as a guideline to improve your marriage & relationship ...
DID I MARRY THE RIGHT PERSON?
During one of our seminars, a woman asked a common question. She said, "How do I know if I married the right person?"
I noticed that there was a large man sitting next to her so I said, "It depends. Is that your husband?"
In all seriousness, she answered "How do you know?"
Let me answer this question because the chances are good that it's weighing on your mind.
Here's the answer.
EVERY relationship has a cycle. In the beginning, you fell in love with your spouse/partner. You anticipated their call, wanted their touch, and liked their idiosyncrasies (unconventional behavior/habit) .
Falling in love with your spouse wasn't hard. In fact, it was a completely natural and spontaneous experience.
You didn't have to DO anything. That's why it's called "falling" in love... Because it's happening TO YOU.
People in love sometimes say, "I was swept of my feet." Think about the imagery of that __expression. It implies that you were just standing there; doing nothing, and then something came along and happened TO YOU.
Falling in love is easy. It's a passive and spontaneous experience. But after a few years of marriage, the euphoria (excitement) of love fades. It's the natural cycle of EVERY relationship. Slowly but surely, phone calls become a bother (if they come at all), touch is not always welcome (when it happens), and your spouse's idiosyncrasies, instead of being cute, drive you nuts.
The symptoms of this stage vary with every relationship, but if you think about your marriage, you will notice a dramatic difference between the initial stage when you were in love and a much duller or even angry subsequent stage.
At this point, you and/or your spouse might start asking, "Did I marry the right person?"
And as you and your spouse reflect on the euphoria of the love you once had, you may begin to desire that experience with someone else.
This is when marriages or relationship breakdown. People blame their spouse/partner for their unhappiness and look outside their marriage/relationsh ip for fulfillment.
Extramarital fulfillment comes in all shapes and sizes. Infidelity is the most obvious.
But sometimes people turn to work, a hobby, excessive TV, or abusive substances.
But the answer to this dilemma does NOT lie outside your marriage. It lies within it.
I'm not saying that you couldn't fall in love with someone else.
You could.
And TEMPORARILY you'd feel better. But you'd be in the same situation a few years later. Because (listen carefully to this):
THE KEY TO SUCCEEDING IN MARRIAGE/RELATIONSH IP IS NOT FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON; IT'S LEARNING TO LOVE THE PERSON YOU FOUND.
SUSTAINING love is not a passive or spontaneous experience. It'll NEVER just happen to you. You can't "find" LASTING love. You have to "make" it day in and day out. That's why we have the __expression "the labor of love." Because it takes time, effort, and energy. And most importantly, it takes WISDOM. You have to know WHAT TO DO to make your marriage/relationsh ip work. Sure true love can only happen after you've fallen out of love. When you begin choosing to love, even if you don't feel like doing it ---- that's true love. And that's the foundation of a lasting and strong marriage.
Make no mistake about it. Love is NOT a mystery. There are specific things you can do (with or without your spouse) to succeed with your marriage.
Just as there are physical laws of the universe (such as gravity), there are also laws for relationships.
Just as the right diet and exercise program makes you physically stronger, certain habits in your relationship WILL make your marriage stronger.
It's a direct cause and effect. If you know and apply the laws, the results are predictable. .. you can "make"love.
Love is indeed a "decision".. . Not just a feeling. You'll not just go away with your relationship just because the feeling is gone. In the Bible, love is a command. You make it happen.
Remember this always:
"God determines who walks into your life. It is up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go."
"Marriage is more than saying I Do. Marriage, like a precious plant, needs constant tending for it to grow, flourish, and bear fruti to last a lifetime, and beyond."
From a friend of mine, thought of sharing it here.
